Do what you love, love what you do! is my motto for a very good reason. I 100% believe you have to love what you are doing in life or make a change about it. Otherwise, you and those around you are miserable. This is true in all facets of life. So, what if you don’t love what you do anymore? Well, that is one major clue it is time to move on!

Time to move on: the end of an era

First of all, the busy llama is not going anywhere – – this is something that I truly love doing as a lifelong learner and educator. This blog is a pure passion of mine and I love sharing all of the resources I find, the courses I have taken, and the books I am reading so keep following along! Sign up for my newsletter if you haven’t already by clicking this link.

All that being said, I am ready to fully admit it is time to move on from another chapter, my LuLaRoe business. I always told myself I would do it for as long as I enjoyed it. And boy, did I enjoy it! I had so much fun making outfits and learning so many facets of marketing a direct sales business. The part I loved the most, and still plan on maintaining is the relationships that I built from the experience! My passion for making outfits though has left the building so I am hanging up my lighting kit and packing up my last pair of buttery soft leggings.

How did I really, really know it was time?

I think for everyone it is a little bit different but for me it just becomes exhausting. Not that good kind of wore out because you gave it your all and had a kick-ass business day. More of the “it is comfy, but draining” kind of relationship when you just outgrow it and it outgrows you, and your time in the sun is done. Like Marie Kondo says, “live a life that sparks joy,” and it wasn’t sparking joy anymore.

What’s next for me?

Well, let me see. I have this amazing blog! I started a great online learning community with an amazing pair of women – – a powerhouse trio of unique perspectives and experiences – – at Learn More Together. Also, as I said above that I love the relationships that I created over the last four years with LuLaRoe, so I have kept that community. We just have a new focus – – positivity, gratitude, and a generous dollop of women empowering women at The Inspiring Llama!
