Ever done a google search for a resource to make a video? It is overwhelming! To make a long story short, when I taught at the high school and college level, I often searched for these types of tools. So, when the invitation to do a FlexClip review landed in my inbox, I was well-versed in determining if it was something I wanted to dig into the tool. Is it a tool that you need to add to your toolbox? Let’s find out!
FlexClip Review: Is this the video maker for you?
Ideally, we would love for everything in life to be free, right? And if all you are looking for is to create a quick, under 1-minute intro video for your business needs, then you are all set. However, if you something a little longer or want to ditch the FlexClip intro, you will need to pay for an account. Is it worth it? The answer depends on the needs of your business. Strength
It is ridiculously easy! I made a few little videos in no time flat to get started with the FlexClip review. The site is very intuitive and offers little screen tips in the dialog boxes that make learning how to use the features a breeze. There are numerous template options for different business and personal needs that can be easily modified. Additionally, you can upload your media to the site to incorporate it into your storyboard.
Area for improvement
This site is a little on the slow side, so I recommend not being like me with 100 browser tabs and other programs opened on my computer. I would also like to see an option to create some videos from a mobile application. It would be a great way to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
Last thoughts
I had the opportunity to have a free account to give the resource a run-through, and I am strongly considering opting for the lower-level priced account. So, if creating short, simple videos is part of your business plan, and you lack the time or money to learn to use a high-end tool, then FlexClip is a pretty good fit. The pricing is reasonable when compared to similar tools. If you are familiar with PicMonkey‘s interface, it will seem like a snap to learn.
