Have you ever considered using a blog for your business? If so, have you ever considering doing a Managed WordPress site? Whoa – – did I just completely lose you? If so, maybe you might want to check out this spiffy, free offering from The Purple Teacup Co, Blog for Business – 7 Days to Launch. Yep, I said free. Read more about it before you make the leap.
Blog for Business – 7 Days to Launch Course
The Purple Teacup Co (TPTC) uses Podia for all of their courses, which is an extremely user-friendly platform. And for a free course, this one is packed with amazing information. All too often the freebies do not give you anything other than a teaser. You can legitimately start a blog for your business from the information in this course. All too often the freebies do not give you anything other than a teaser. Click To Tweet
The technical components are where the value is in the course. TPTC helps to de-mystify some of the more technical elements of starting up a blog. And unlike Wix or Blogger, the “free” sites, you wind up with a quality product that is 100% yours. Though there are costs associated with starting your own business blog (such as buying the domain and hosting) you gain more long-term value from using this free course than any of the “free” platforms.
Area for improvement
For a free course, there is nothing that I would personally improve. It is a robust course, jammed into seven easily digestible days.
Who would benefit from the course
If you have ever even remotely considered blogging for your business then this is the course for you. This course is beneficial to those with very limited knowledge of all that goes into a self-hosted Managed WordPress site.
I’ll continue to review more courses and tools, so be sure to subscribe to the blog to see the latest!
And if you haven’t already done so, please be sure to familiarize yourself with my Do What You Love, Love What You Do series. We’ll continue to explore new business opportunities to find the right fit for you!
