Overview

This video course is a quick and easy overview of why original content is king. As well as offers some strategies for creating it, repurposing it, and two tools to help you manage it all. The delivery provides you examples of the practice in action and tips for how you can come up with your own ideas. Furthermore, there are printables and bonus pieces of training provided to help you round out the process and hit the ground running instead of running in circles.

Kim Jimenez does an excellent job of explaining what original content is, why it is important, and how you can take the content you make and break it into chunks to share across multiple channels. Since I have a blog (duh!) and have been in business for myself for a while I understand the importance but it was awesome to see it explained from another perspective.

Area for improvement

The information is still relevant even though the material was recorded in 2015/2016, which says a lot for our ever-changing online business environment but could use some freshening up. In a couple of the videos, she references items that are no longer in the course or have been changed (Forum v. The Business Lounge). Furthermore, a couple of bonus links no longer direct to the right resources.
